We don't have loons here but I know them from my frequent trips to Minnesota. I even have a CD with loon talk. Good wildlife picture, Dave.

Hi Dave,
I think you will find the Loon images do quite well on Usefilm. They are one of those birds that we take a little for granted here in Ontario. They can get quite friendly. I was very surprised how close a mother Loon let me get to her and her young ones when they were diving for fish. I was in a kayak when I took this shot.

Dave: Common or not, they are beautiful birds. We see them occasionally here but they seem to like the deeper woods. This is a great catch, thanks for posting for our pleasure.
