Thank you very much for your comments! I'm glad you you like it! The depth was forced by placing the lens of a loupe infront of the camera's lens. At that point, it acted as a diopter. It took 40 snaps to get that 'one' perfect image when the focus lined up. Tricky... but beautiful fun when it works! The loupe lens was about 4mm from the white stem center of the tulip!

I must say, you have an amazing eye. Yo're portfolio is stunning! Like you, I enjoy pushing the art with, as you say, "cheap point and shoot" cameras! When you have an eye like you do, I bet a shoe box with a pin hole will do the trick! I love your photo "summer". So rich. (I'll leave comments there for you).
