Hi Elisa,
Thank you very much! I do agree, #1. there's still something about this one, but it's not as bold as the others.
thanks very much for having a look at the series!
cheers, -joel

Hi Joel! Funny ... as a thumbnail this one fascinates me most. If I have to choose my fave, it“s #1 though, as the shapes/structures are more complex there and the placement of the green plants is better balanced. Nevertheless, a good series and interesting patterns created by nature!

Thank you very much Phil!
A year ago if you told me that I would have a series of images of a rock wall, I would say 'leave that to Mr. Goldsworthy', but now it's an obsession! Till is stops raining, and the flowers bloom again..it's rocks and jets for a while ;)
cheers, -joel

Hi Joel,
Thanks for your reply, and I toatlly agree with the sequence, as well as the remark that this one is less suited to act as a stand alone.
The 90 degree CW rotation of the first image definitely creates an entire different feel, awesome difference; I guess it's the visual aspects that change the image; the eyes and human brain is more accustomed to the flow in the 90 degree rotation, and starts searching for a recoginition... Very intriguing effect!
Cheers,
Hugo

Hugo,
Thanks again. Yeah.. this is #3 for sure. I almost didnt' post it, but I wanted to round out the series, and get in tight.
You called it... the lines are not as strong as the detail and color. I feel that it can't stand alone, as the CC version does. It needs the other two. you agree?
cheers, -joel

Well, it's a very different work and some hard to write a comment for this shot. but anyway. this composition showes a clever photographer. a very good use of Texture, a very good sharpness and quality.nice job!

Very fine indeed, but to me the least of the three; the intricacy of the lineplay has vanished and been replaced by details (and some very fine ones at that) but overall, I think this photo is less challenging. Still, very well captured.
Cheers,
