thanks very much for your comments! I'm glad you like the shot!
I tried a crop, knocking out the curtains, but for me, it lost something of the warmth of the interior, and added a far too forced look of the window lines drawing a 'cross'. Polyester is always shooting me looks like this.. so there will always be more cat pics to post! Thanks for your suggestion very much! Feel free to take the image, and try a crop to post back to this thread!

Lovely shot, in which you've captured the character of the cat. I like the contrast of the cat against the background, which is beautifully complementary in its colours. I would perhaps consider cropping the right a little to remove the redundant interior - you might then need to crop a little from the left also to maintain the balance.

Thank you Peta! ...it is a great lens. took some getting use to, and not just the weight! Hope things are well in Oz! Lived in QLD for a year, and miss it very much! Best of luck to you...and get the lens! It's worth the financial suffering!

Hehe, what a funny story. A lot of cats ive known have expected thier owners to do absolutely everything for them. The look in her eyes simply says "you had better let me in mister!" Wonderful capture!
