Jim:
Kindred spirit. I hope to visit all the parks as well, but I am far, far, short of getting there. I'm surpised to learn you've put 50 images together. I max my RAM out at about 20 or so 6 MPxl shots. Those must be stunning.
Great light, great clouds, a great day to make a pano I think. Just lovely.

Bryce Canyon is one of my favourite places and this is a gorgeous panorama. Unfortunately, not being a donor, I can't view the full size but I have seen it in person so I know what I'm viewing here. Stunning colours and clarity throughout. I was reading how some of your images are stitched using 50 images. I can't even imagine how long that would have taken to firstly have taken all those photos then to have stitched them all together. That takes real devotion and a passion for your craft. Wonderful work Jim.
Thank you also for your comment on my Bridge over Multnomah Falls image. I did post an attachment photo of the full waterfall for you on the thread.
Cheers - Ann :)

Ina... this is just under 180 degrees if I recall correctly. Perhaps 150 or so. I have multiple versions of this scene. This was cropped down quite a bit. I also have much higher resolution versions as well made up of as many as 50 images.

Fantastic panoramic of Bryce Canyon, Jim! Amazingly put together, with superb clarity and depth. The eyes can roam and roam! Love the clouds in the sky and the amazing perspective and colors throughout. Would this be 180 degrees or more? Great work, Jim!

Jim, I am fascinated by your big-scale work! I shall be visiting your website (where I hope to pick up a few tips for my own site, planned for www.rogerama.jp ) as soon as I finish my current urgent work project. But this new freedom is almost unbelievable for me, who battled with first 640 pixel and then 800 pixel width limits on Usefilm for well over two years! I think this liberal policy, with the 400k file size limit, is a wonderful advance. I hope to be able to use it for immersive panoramas once the technical details can be ironed out. Phil is already working on this... Whoopee!

Roger... this second time around posting a panoramic I'm finding it to be a much better experience. This is a small panoramic for me though. I may have to try something larger in the future to see how it all works out. In those cases I'm concerned about the 400KB max size. We'll see. Thanks for taking a look at my panoramic work.

Well, Jim, how do you like being able to post a 1600-pixel wide panorama! Verrry impressive, I found it, I must say, especially as the wide range of contrasts in the same image must have been difficult to handle...
