Geeze this picture is pretty *LOL* I think that everytime I see it.. ;-) On NO, I can not even imagine, but I am sure it is just devistating, The news angers me though how they are so on it right in the beginning and then they just quit and people forget... While others are struggling to survive!
Pam, thanks for asking. Some people are getting on with their lives, others are waiting to see what they are going to do with the levees. Others I guess are waiting to see if we get hit again this year to make up their minds on what they are going to do. The rebuilding is going slow, they are still clearing the debris and finding bodies in the flooded out areas. It's one thing to see it on the news but you really have to get there and see it first hand. I went into an area I hadn't been in in over 7 months, it was depressing. We will make it, but it's going to take a bunch of years. THANKS.
Thank you for your comment on my cityscape.. I enjoyed your album here,You have some gorgeous shots.. I can not wait for spring to kick in.. How are you guys doing in New Orleans? You never here the aftermath on the news..
Guess I missed this one Kenneth (and a few more!) during the holidays. Beautiful sunrise as only seen in Louisiana. The silhouette of the grasses really make this one exceptional. Nice to meet another Louisianian! Regards--Bill Voizin
