Hi Don, Early mornings can be sooo beautiful.... If only I would be awake enough when I'm driving to work....:) I love the feel of this image with the fog embedding the valley below. Very quiet and tranquil mood. Very nice indeed.

The fog was just in the low areas and not up where I was when this was taken. This kind of light only last just a short time. We were driving down the road and I got out and took a few shots. Didn't have time to do much composition or anything. Just make do with what you have at the time. Thanks for the great comments. Have a great Holiday Season. Don.

A nice moody foggy image Don. Wonderful details and clarity. I love the foreground. The strange part is the way the fog has a difinitive line. It doesn't just gradually get foggy. The foreground doesn't just fade into the fog but it's clear then wham there's the wall of fog. It could be an illusion but it adds to the mood. Great capture.

Wonderful landscape shot!!! Beautiful light, the town just 'peeping' through that mist is super, good composition with those shrubs in the foreground they add great depth, but maybe a bit less would be even nicer... well captured!!!
