So good for me to see dramas acted out in small scale.

Hi Mark, the small attached images in the comment section are clickable, they open in a new window where you can see them at full size. I like this new feature - small as not to accaparate the comments, but viewable in a large size 750 x 750 in a separate window. I always was afraid to attach a large image before, as not to upset the thread. Now it stays small, but can be viewed large. This is a good improvement! I tried a few still lifes and they are HARD! None turned out too good. In my place all the windows are tinted, and that cuts on the natural light. It's a real problem, as I did not want artificial lighting, but I may have to go that route, adjust white balance, etc. Lots of work!

Yes, very good to have Usefilm back, and I very much like the new look and especially the new oprganization and interface. Still a few bugs but I'm sure they will be worked out. And yes, I have many images to post! Both new and some unposted images I've collected over the past several months that I have reviewed in the extra time with Usefilm down(!).
I like the B&W version of this image also. It is difficult to state a preference given the relatively small size of the B&W, but the contrasty effect of the B&W seems interesting with this subject. Yet also, showing the continuity of the color images is a good approach you have taken. Perhaps in your "spare time"(!) you could do a collage of these. :)
And I do eagerly await your still life work, Ina. It seems so perfectly suited to your style! I have been working on some holiday still life and may post something very soon. But the more I do it and study it, the more I agree with you, Still Life is HARD!

Hi Mark, long time no see :) Thanks for your nice comment! I was up all night watching the rebirth of Usefilm, and I'm glad it's back! The color effects on this picture are worked in PS, and I have a B & W version which I liked more, but this yellow was supposed to complement a previous picture with the same colors, as they are viewed together and have some color continuity. I'm attaching the B & W below, since I won't post it again. I'm looking forward to your new postings, and I'm still thinking (no pun intended) of trying a still life :) Best regards, Ina

Thank you Mohamed :) I find the new look OK, but I can't get rid of the ads, and I preferred the 4 pictures on a line instead of 3, which requires you to scroll down more, and see less on a horizontal monitor. Best regards, Ina

You signiture clarity and textural expressions are evident here Ina, and a pleasure to view as always. I especially like the aparent variation in light/color where certain of the twigs are gray while others are a mellow yellow. This gives almost an impression of waves. Is it caused by shadows, PS coloration, etc? No matter, it is a nice effect regardless.

Thanks, The login worked - and the upload worked after reducing my picture from 358k to 325k. I guess there is a difference between what Photoshop estimates for size, and what IExplorer estimates - in IE being slightly over. This wasn't an issue before. I used to save a picture at 359K in PS and it would go through. Now it got rejected even at 355K (PS size) - Anyway, I can adapt :) Thanks for all your work! Ina
