Many thanks for your comments concerning my "sailing by".

This particular image is excellent, the subject, the composition, the use of BW - everything works.

To be honest, I am impressed with your portfolio as a whole...

Hard working but most sincere little boy. What a cute smile he has for you. It's that shy smile that I just love - very heartfelt. Great shot and the framing is great here. Great use of 3rds.
Thanks for your comment elsewhere.

Hi Mark !!
Thanks for all your nice comments. mmm No I don't actually know this little kid I saw Him in Tehran's Bazaar some time a go. He was poor .. looked pretty sad and was workin' but as I told him to sit for a photo he suddenly smiled !! as if he had no problems !

Thanx again !

a little bit of caution in the eyes and a trace of sadness, but a smile just waiting to happen. Do you know him?

A delicate and emotional portrait, really. The young lad's face is memorable. He doesn't look sad but rather expectant.

This is a wonderful, portrait, full of empathy and kindness! I am not bothered too much by the cropping of the foot. You might avoid the issue--and still have a strong image if you crop even more--maybe almost to a square. Then the question of the foot would never arise. Beautiful work!

Best wishes,
--George

Maybe the composition isn?t perfect, above all the crop of the feet, but it?s a very emotive shot and a strong document too, unfortunately it?s so frequent in the world and I feel always sad when I see these photos? I hope his eyes can smile more in the future? Bye, Max

Very strong image, it's hard to see just how hard life is for some children, it should not be like that, and yet, the boy still has a smile for the camera, kids are tougher than we think!!Well captured.... Kind regards, Rafael

Hi Ali, a good street photo but also a denounce of the hard work of this child. Too bad for the cut of the feet. The light it's a little bit hard, may be for the scanning? I like the proud gaze of this brave little boy.
Regards from Rome.
