Yes, the eye jumps around but in a highly predictable manner. My eyes move from the cluster in the center to the cluster in the top right corner like clockwork. Tic-toc-tic-... I force my eyes to go elsewhere but they quickly return to those two.
The effect is quite suitable to the image. It gives the feeling of hopping around in the woods like in a fairytale.
Nicely done.

Thanks, Anne. I just bought a new slide scanner, and it makes all the difference in the world. Only adjusted contrast a bit in pre-scan to match how the slide looked on the lightbox. I'm really happy with how this came out.
I upgraded from the PrimeFilm 1800U to the Minolta Dimage Scan Elite. Before, I was forced to correct every scan in PS to try to replicate the original image. Now I don't spend half as much time in the digi-darkroom. Such a time saver, but, more importantly, it restores my confidence when I see my images on the computer screen just as they were taken. Thanks for commenting!

This photo pops. Wow...the colors are so vibrant and visually pleasing and the shapes are so interesting together...my eye bounces happily around the whole pic. NEATO.

Thanks so much, Deb. I like this one too. Thought it might make for nice wrapping paper or a greeting card or something. Hope it sells.
