Dear Marty, thank you very much! It is so nice to get this type of compliment, but... girls prefer Genius without previous word (F.....ing). P.S. Do you like to destroy my boyfriend? I hope he will believe me, that I didn't touch any botton! :-) R...

Raquel,
Money had no bearing on my comment sweet Raquel. I just pointed out, that you are a Fuc69ing "Genius" that is all... Case and Point!
You brought up the cost in the 1st place. I'm well off, therefore I don't even think about money... Please? ;)
Greetings, right back @ you,
Marty
PS. You really know how to punch my buttons, don't you?

Will wonders never cease? I really like the optical illusion created by the pattern on your plate which tells our eyes that the bottom of the image is curved outward (which of course it is not). Best $2 you ever spent.

This is so weird. I gaze at photo and the bottom of the marbles appear to move/shimmer. One of the finest abstract/slass pix I have seen.

Thank you for the "About" you have added, however
....if you spent TWO dollars in a "One Dollar Store", I think you should go back and get your change! :)

Raquel
Thank you for solving the mystery! This has to be one of the most brilliant and well concieved abstracts ever, on UseFilm.com.
Apparently, when you placed the marbles on the curved plate, you were able to capture the closer tighter texture on the bottom of the marbles, while still being able to reflect that same texture of the plate on a much wider reflective pattern on the marbles' top surface.
Raquel......my respect and admiration for an abstract image that certainly "reflects" an artistisan's talent for pure genius.
Kudos, to you!!!

Wow, awesome work. This is such a simple composition with fascinating detail. There is so much depth in this image, with the pattern concentrating from light at the bottom to darker tones at the top. It is so "3D" that it seems like the slightest breeze would cause these balls to move. The pattern makes the grid look curved. I find this image enthralling. CC

Raquel
Extremely clever abstract, Raquel, as it keeps the viewer wondering, "How did she capture the smooth reflective image of the textured lower matte surface, while at the same time show a different reliefed pattern on the top of the globes."
It basically defies description, henceforth, perhaps that is why you did not provide us with one. Our guess, of course, is that this photograph has been post exposured digitally altered in some way, but if not, a brilliant and creative shot that mesmerizes the voyeur.
Congratulations,
John Estes, San Francisco Bay Area
