I like this idea and think that apart from David's suggestion to put a true black point up in the URC, you might consider working the light distribution to get darker values in the face. The blown-out parts are good IMO - I just think more contrast tension would be interesting.

I like this shot a lot. The idea that you can see the light soruce is very cool. The diagonals surrounding your face are great. The blown out sections add to the interest. I would try adjusting the contrast a bit to have the top right of the shot be your true black point. Great job...
