Dear Raquel, nice colour composition, the textures seems a bit to harsh for glass, however, that's another property of glass. Beautiful high-key design.
The first thing that came to my mind, is Venn Diagrams from my Math/Logic studies. I wish science could be explained using natural elements like in your images.

Do you live above a glass factory? You have so many useful pieces of glass. I might like these better than the squares. Have you considered combining the two elements?
