oh.. no!.. Unfortunately I have never had the possibility of visiting HK, to say the true one I visited very little.. Some sea resort and is enough abroad (Ibiza and Rhodos) Maybe if I did a representation work it is possible.. certainly like all the big towns he has an unbelievable glamour.
I think that Hugo de wolf often visited for HK work.
have all the best ciao roby

Andrew,
thank you very much! very kind!
Ya know.. you can get the 20D pretty cheap these days, as the 30D is the one everyone is going for now... honstly, there's not much different, other than a larger view screen. I'm pretty happy w/ 20D, and I plan to use it till it falls apart! ....then.... a 5D.. :)
Buy a 20D... take the money you saved, and get an "L" lens!
good luck, and thanks again!

Hey Joel
Very cool shot of a really abstract building. I've been liking alot of your most recent pictures.
Question: I've been saving up to buy a 20D since last christmas and i've just found out that canon has stopped productions of the camera for good and am unable to buy one now. So my next option is the 30D and I was wondering if you know anything about that one.

Great architectural shot!! Beautiful blues, neat sky reflection in those windows, good composition, great angle/POV... and a pat on the back for getting it 'done' under difficult circumstances... good job... ;-D

Hi Joel,
That's probably one of the most impressive buildings; and I like the tilt in it. You should be very happy about this one, a very powerful photo. I think I would try to revive a bit of the contrasts and details in the shadow parts (or at least make them less obviously black, if you see what I mean). I think that would add the finishing touch to a very good photo...:)
Cheers,
Hugo

Thanks Jeanette!
I always shoot RAW. There is information in the shadow, but they painted the bottom edges of the building black to push the effect. Clearly the buildings were 'designed'.
....but plan to return! cheers, -Joel

Fabulous building and nice blue reflected on it Joel. I can understand you wanna go back. Composionally i really like this and the building are really interesting to look at. (I presume you aren“t working with RAW, cause there you can fix the black shadow if it got black without information.) Well composed under such circumstances. Jeanette

Oh, wow! Joel, another of your wonderful city building images!
The lines, the shapes, the shadows, the colours, and, above all, the perspective in which the image was captured from, all combine to create a feeling of 'massiveness' and 'strength'!
Another excellent image!
Cheers
