Leonie - there is absoulutely no post processing work done on this image, it is straight out of camera...except for resizing of course.
The details on how I achieved this image are as follows -
The flower was placed on a lightbox and a softbox was positioned above the lightbox to act as the fill in light source and to give the bright white effect and also bring out the colour of the flower. I had the camera on Aperture Priority at f2.8 with my 90mm macro lens attached. I also dialed in + 1.5 exposure compensation to make sure I got the desired high key effect.

Love the simplicity of this image. The tones are nice and muted except for the spot of colour created by the yellow boat. The composition is also brilliant, I really like the way that the single cloud is directly above the boat.

Ori regarding your comment on the catchlights in the eyes. As this breed has very heavy eye lids it is very difficult to get that sparkle in the eyes...and I agree that they would improve the photo.
