I agree with David she looks fake if you were trying to make her look perfect you should have made her lags smaller too. Also her hair is green??? is that what you were going for?

Hello Gary, and thank you for your comment. The reason for the pearls was simple because it was assigned to me. the other tow with out were shot simple for my self. Yes I agree with you I just had to come up with 5 different backgrounds for the pearls, and the spoons was one. I was going for a mixture of something elegant against some thing ordinary and used on a day to day bases. The 4 other back grounds are a mixture of things in the kitchen like utensils and fruit. As for the tight crop. It was the only option for me because I was working with a rather small pice of tile for the background and to get the spoons that size without having fall off from the large format camera I was forced to shoot so tight. NOTE: I know I could have used photoshop, But unfortunately I shot this before I knew how to use photoshop. P.S. I love your work! thanks again Tarah

Well the reason the focus is not at the tip is for more of the abstract feel of things. Thats why I put the photo in the abstract category, as well as Unusual vision. Because it's are nature as humans to put the focal point @ the tip or @ the center of the composed peace. I guess I'm just trying to broaden my way of thinking, doing something different for a change. Just trying to take it to another level, doing something unusual and what we as people would consider not normal. Other wise it would not be unusual vision. I have the same pic but with the focal point on the tip and it just does not work as well but thank you so much for your comment and please do not hesitate to leave as many comments as you would like. thanks again Tarah

I looked at your work It's vary good I have lots of old B&W shots my self most are from Montana, old barns, cars and stuff. I just have not been able to put my B&W shots on the site just yet. I have only been a member a short time (7-days I think) p.s.. I wanted to say that I love some of your shots
