I think that Istambul has always a great fascination. but this photo is too much grey and don't has contrast.
you can improve the image using the photoshop layers.
I have tried and I've applied a orange layer on the photo and I have increased the black tones with the levels.
then I have crop the photo to balance it.
this is the result.

my eyes are captured in the first time by the little model, and in a second time by the railroad of the train that guide me towards an escape point.

Matt, thanks! you have reason, I have controlled exif of the photo and I turn out that I have used 100 mm macro. i was careless, I have mistaken to select it while I made upload
now i'll edit it for change it.
this is one of my experiments with hands..
my target is to emphasize skin texture for create an intimate shot.
any suggestion?

ma questa č favolosa!!!
č una combinazione di fattori, il cielo meraviglioso, la sabbia dorata, i cespugli dai toni caldi e d'una nitidezza incredibile. e la ciliegina sulla torta sono gli aquiloni.

ero molto indecisa tra il sepia e il bianco e nero, ma ho visto che, a confronto, il bn rende 10 volte meglio. l'idea era quella di enfatizzare i dettagli della pelle (che con il sepia e il duo-tone venivano clamorosamente sbiaditi...)grazie Giulio per il commento
