Russ, That's the funniest thing I ever heard. Maybe when you perfect it and capture the vastness you can post it. I'd love to see it. As far as the pumpkins go, I couldn't get sky in it because there were houses, trees and people all around.

Cool shot. This is the cleanest piece of fungus I ever saw. Flawless.

Kim, Thanks for the comment. I didn't quite capture what I had in mind at the time with this shot. I wanted to show a vast field of pumpkins like a vast field of flowers. I tried different lenses and different angles. I'd like to pass by some more pumpkins this year and hopefully get closer to what I originally was going for.

Love the colors of this and the way the lighting makes the boat stand out. Great shot.

Kenneth, Thanks for the comment and the advice. I am in the market for a ND filter. I guess I wasn't sure about this picture because I thought it needed more of a subject, like a boat or people or something. I get very critical of my own work sometimes.

Definatly cool ideas. I tried something similar for a buisiness card. It's a distant picture of me taking a picture. I tried lightening it and messing with the contrast in photoshop but I haven't been able to get it quite right yet. You seem to have the tones perfect in this one for that type of thing.

Nice close up. He (or she) looks sad. I guess because he's part of a circus.

Terrence, Thank you for the comment. I can always increase the contrast of this since it is a color neg converted to B&W in photoshop. It also was a horizontal shot so I cropped it a lot to the way I thought looked the best. What would you do different in a reshoot?

I think you should clone out the power lines. Just kidding. I like this shot because it shows the natural with the unnatural.

This is really light. Looks like you should write a poem overtop of it. What does it look like darker?

I like this. If you moved anything I guess you couldn't call it candid. I wouldn't have moved anything anyway. It looks good the way it is.

I like this picture and the fog in the background. I've worked in a lab for 10 yrs. Sometimes the machines don't print exactly the way the picture was shot. I always have to correct my own work to make it look the same as the way I saw it. If you see that your pictures don't look the same as the way you saw it, see if you can get them to make the proper adjustments.

Dawna, I do have adobe photoshop. I tried cropping some more off the bottom and some off the top and I do like it better. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to replace this one with the new cropped one.
