Photographer: David Yates  (Karma=4698)
Sterling, MASSACHUSETTS USA

About: I was very much into 35mm photography back in my high school days- had my own B&W darkroom. Then I got sucked into work and family and all the usual messiness of life and only took snapshots for many years. When digital started getting more affordable a few years ago my love for this artform was rekindled- first w/ a Canon S40 and more recently w/ a Nikon D-100. I do alot of outdoor activities like mountaineering, kayaking, and biking, so now my dilemma is when to go compact but limited vs. bulky but flexible- it's always something. Either way though I'm thoroughly enjoying re-immersing myself in both shooting and processing photos, and I'm finding this site tremendously helpful in learning the art.
Any and all comments on my attempts are greatly appreciated, particularly constructive criticism on how to improve.
