Thanks Gabriela, I'm not seeing them as ghosts, but rather memories of people. This is how I think of them. I wouldn't have seen my grandfather young like this in reality, it is a picture from the thirties, but I like to remember him like this :) Thanks for the great comment!

Ina, great colorwork and realy very expresive picture, I like the compressed structure of the lift bridge, it's stretch for me it means compressed timeline and make sense with your grandfather. Cool, n.j

Thank you Amy, I love to see my grandparents' pictures, and I found a way of bringing them to life in my own work. It's interesting to see how different everybody's choices of my pictures are! I really appreciate knowing your preference, it helps me in my future work :) Regards, Ina

You're really stirring me with all these ghosts! I know they are around us all the time, but being reminded is rather unnerving.I like the bridge which is a very strong presence, very masculine in design. The colour is striking.
You DO have a very specila touch with all these creations!
Gabriela

That's a very great interpretation, Mark! The perspective is linear, as well as P.O.V. perspective. Thanks for taking the time to analyze and comment!

Perfect placement of the man's image with the converging lines of the walkway. And it even leads to two people in the distance. When I see these, I can't help but think that you're introducing the perspective of someone from long ago, and what they might think of us and what we've done to our cities and streets.

Thanks Aram, I was afraid you may not be around to see it! I'm still working on the mannequins, they're more difficult than people to insert in pictures, they look very artificial. Have a great week-end!

Great idea and another excellent montage. There is a strong symbolism i the perspective of the grand-daughter dissolved in the foreground "mirage" of the grandfather. And this bridge that links the two ages; it self being painted and repaited times and times... Very nice.

Thank you, Dear Ina, I'm sincerely honoured for the dedication.

Thanks Neal for the great comment, this is my other grandfather, not the same as the one I had in the Nov. 11 picture. I have a great collection of family pictures, now they see the light of day so to speak! Best regards, Ina

So much drama and tension. The way your grandfather is superimposed over the approaching figure and the serious expression on his face lend an air of foreboding and mystery. And the strong beams, not quite vertical, are like slightly discordant background music. A very powerful image.

A terrific dedication, Ina. The composition and palette are great. The photo very much reminds me of a movie poster for "The Invisible Man". Very well done!
