About	This shot was taken while flying by helicopter over the barren, scrub lands of western Nevada. The terrain at this point of the trip was transitioning from a flat barren area to some foothills. The early morning sun is responsible in part for the blue color tones, which are interspersed with the earth tones one would expect to find.

Terrific abstract landscape, Mark. I really like the faint vehicle tracks in the upper right. I presume those are what they are. They ground the picture nicely, if you pardon the unintentional pun.
