This Russian church was so interesting I thought a night shot would be cool. This was some of the first shots I ever took using 35mm, and I hadn't done any night photography yet. When I got the prints back, I was pleasantly surprised to see cloud detail and other things that I honestly hadn't been trying to capture. The EM is aperture priority, and I simply let it keep the shutter open as long as it wanted. Although I hate to admit it, the whole thing was a lucky accident - but don't spread it around because a lot of my co-workers think this shot is pretty neat! I'd hate to ruin the mystique of how it was taken :)
I've been doing alot of night photography lately. I've had many tree turn green due to parking lot lights shining on them. It's always interesting to see how things turn out. With night photography there are always suprises.
