I was going to apologise for the delay in commenting (honoured to have my name on ANY picture of yours, Kevin), but I see Danny hasn't made it yet! This is a bit better in that the light stripes alongside black areas, and black stripes alongside white areas, and the speckling of grass and other areas, are less obvious, although I can still see them if I look for them (but if you have to LOOK for them, they probably aren't bad enough to detract from the picture). I know you imported the sky, but I see a strange speckled, painterly effect in the sky. I don't know if this is a result of over sharpening, or a JPEG compression artifact, or what, but it does rather spoil the effect of those wonderful wind-whipped clouds. Kevin, I really don't think it's my screen display, you know, because sometimes the pictures are fine and sometimes they are so full of these line/edge effects that I can hardly believe my eyes. Next time it happens, if it ever does, I'll upload an enlarged bit and ring the things I'm referring to. Thanks for bothering to reply.
