Yes, the giveaway is that the wife's reflections are not broken up by the alternate layers of sand... pity, really, as the picture otherwise works wonderfully well.

I quite likethisone Kevin. Sheis in a very strong position in the picture space and there are some nice colours on the beach

Know what caught my eye first in this shot? That lone little red image to the mid left. If you had not used PhotoShop to add your wife in this shot, it would have been to me, a lonely but still lovely water photo. Nice use of PhotoShop tools.

Very good! The colors are muted, but those reflections and ripples in the water give this image an artistic look.
