Interesting approach on this one. I think you have several factors working together here to emphasize the texture of the crate. The fact that the printed letters are so faded as to be illegible, that the shot is at an unusual angle, and that the colorful and interesting pumpkins are peaking out not visible enough to really "see", all these factors seem to make me notice the wood grain/texture even more. This is a very interesting and unusual shot. Love it. Also the light seems a bit odd, which also draws attention. A little green/cyan(?).
Your gift for seeing unusual aspects of common views and bringing them out in your work is extraordinary. Great stuff here, Ina.

Nice texture, lines, shapes, and grain in the wood Ina, a lovely abstract...it almost looks like eyes looking out at you, I also see a hat, nice angle in your composition...I like the weathered effect, very nicely done...Linda
