About Attempting to surf on a piece of flat driftwood... I think he's got natural technique, except for the fact that he's facing out to sea...

"" - I guess that could stand for either Rina Drinks Frothy Coffee or Really Dumb F***ing Comment :))

rotflmao... boy oh boy, didn't get your WheatBix this morning, eh son?

Oh well Laurie, you KNOW I just want your body, so hey, can't blame an OLD girl for trying to nab a Toy Boy, right?

;)

Hi Paul, thanks for that... I see you cheated by using a more experienced surfer in your version! Thanks for stopping by...

Hi Rina,

Yup, straight from the camera, just trying out the dof afforded by a new zoom lens... I honestly hadn't thought about the fact that ANY photo involving one's children is almost by definition nostalgic... although I'm obviously not as old as you are, in that my nostalgic photos aren't actually sepia toned

And there you go again. Show off! I'm so jealous. Tried this myself and simply could not get it right. (the shot, not the surfing...)

Judging by the beautifully dreamy natural colour and light in these two shots, I take it this is straight from camera and no post work, right...? Clever, clever man.

Just a thought, how about sepia or b&w? The image itself invokes feelings of nostalgia (for me anyway) and I was wondering if the mood would be emphasised with tones... but again, that's just me. Gimme half a chance and I'll convert just about anything in front of me :))

Great stuff Laurie!
Cheers
Rina
