This is lovely, Cessy! I would never have thought of converting this to B&W, but it works very well as the lighting and composition are so strong. Best regards, Chris

frankly B/W wasn't my first choice , as I was after the colors of autumn :) but it's not autumn enough anyway - still too green hehehe... mon ami fidel = my loyal friend/my best friend, more often refer to a dog, but maybe in the dog's perspective it's the other way around :)

Unfortunately the colour version didn't make it, Cessy, but I wasn't suggesting you should have posted the colour version--I trust your instincts! It was an interesting choice to me because it is one I make quite often, particularly when the play of light and shade is more interesting than the play of colours, as I am sure it was here. By the way, is Fidel the dog or the human being?

From the thumbail I thought we were back in the jungles of Indonesia... but I see this is an European forest. Lovely play of light through the trees, interesting that you chose B&W.
