Hey Heidi,
If you crop even more sky. So that you just have about one inch of the sky above the top, the picture will be almost square. I quickly gave it a try and then the mountain looks even more impressive, higher and give a more dramatic mood.
Anyway, right now it is already a nice crisp picture with good details in the snow. And that is not so easy to capture. Nice work!

i've just tried it in PS and it looks quit different now. I'm not sure now wich one i like best...but it's nice to see how a bit of cropping can change a picture so completly

yes, you understood me correctly! i thinked to a square crop in which bottom left corner there is the curved edge of the snow

hello,
thx for you comment. I just cropped of a bit of the sky because it was too overwhelming. I'm not sure if a square would work for this picture. That is if I understand you correctly?

Very crisp shot, nice angle to show the steepness to the top .. and wow, that blue sky .. Peter
