A rather nice shot, but I wouldn't put the pooch dead center. Realizing it's purely subjective, but I'd move the upper-left corner down to put the dog's eyes at the one-third mark, which seems to increase the chance of pulling in the viewer (rule of thirds).
rules are made to be broken, and photography is an art, so if you knew this just ignore me. ;)
