About Unique lighting under a boardwalk. It only lasted a while with the sun in a certain postition. The waves coming in lit by those little lines of light, had a stroboscopic effect. I had walked a long while under the boardwalk in dark shade. When i came to this spot, you can imagine my surprize.

I believe it was taken at about f8 on aperature. I think the original is pretty well in focus, image stabilized lens also, but it was pretty dark down there. Thanks

Alan-

The spots of light on the sand
echoed and elongated on the posts.
The transition from warm light to cool.

Beautiful.

You have a lot of
exceptional work here.

Almost everything is perfect in this photo - camera angle, crop, light, and even timing of the waves. All truly excellent. If I had to nit-pick (please don't get me wrong, I really like the picture), I would ask for a little sharper focus. I'm curious, what ISO, shutter speed, and f/stop did you use?

it is amazing that you caught this image.. great job and it just proves my theory that if you wait somewhere long enough someone feeds you... wait wrong theory... i mean that: To photograph truthfully and effectively is to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity which live or are latent in all things.
Ansel Adams
what a cool image...

Good eyes spotting this intriguing light display. It gives such a strange look to the sandy beach. Nicely composed.

Great! Long slivers of light, short ones... bright ones on the sand, others fighting to be seen amidst the froth of the sea. Quite an interesting find ... good eye. Well executed. Congrats.
