So good and sad, it's in my favorites, George. Thank you, my friend, for your very kind comments on my "Light from within" and "Street musician." Best regards, Rafi

Tienes razón, los desamparados y sin hogar los encontramos en todas la ciudades, una triste pero cierta realidad. Es una hermosa imágen, transmite mucha sensibilidad.

I'm happy to see that he has warm clothing and 3 little friends to keep him company...they seem to adore him, they are as close to him as they can get, a sign that he takes good care of them the way he needs to be cared for...very nice image George, sad but true, and makes me thankful...and I wish people didn't have to suffer like that...:(...Linda

Super shot George, capturing someone who is usually invisible - or at least people pretend they aren't there and just walk past with eyes averted. Well done.

This is sad, we have a lot of homeless in our country too in almost every large city. The destitute man with his constant companions probably helps to relieve some of his burden.
You did an incredible job depicting part of this man's life!

Yes, Larry, and I've learned that it is not as unusual as I thought. I am told that dogs provide companionship, warmth and even protection. BTW--I didn't notice until I was posting this that there is a second cat in this shot--not the first time I've discovered things in my own pictures. ;-)

What a strong image !!!! I did not discover the cat until i clicked the thumbnail. What makes the photo so heartbreaking is the fact that even the dog and the cat get along....because they have to. One man rejected by others and his only two companions in life.....also rejected....Stickin' together

Quelle gueule il a le bonhomme... on sent qu'il regarde le fond du sac avec ses doigts et qu'il reconnait chacun des objets... et le chien a l'air de dire: va-il le trouver un jour ce biscuit? Belle photo. drilan

Ic didn't notice the cat right away. It must be hard for him to look after his pets. Great shot. Mary
