Hi David, I see you are shooting macro with the 100 2.8 in some of your photos, I shoot macro in my spare time, I was using a 50mm with extenison tubes, but just picked up the canon 100mm, I find that it is a super macro lens, but indoors as a portrait lens I find that it hunts a lot, I have none to compare it to and was wondering what you thought, as my 24-70mm does not hunt like this. what do you think?

I did use flash on this but not ringflash.
I dont like the light from ringflash as it tends to be too flat.
I had two remote controlled flashes on stands to either side.

The details on this bee are breathtaking! The bee looks so soft and fluffy!
excellent dof and the bee really stand out against that brilliant blue!
Did you use flash? I?ll probably get a 105mm macro lens before I travel to Malaysia should I get a ring flash too?
