Quite a stunning image, especially as there is very little colour difference in the whole composition, and yet still has a clarity, and so many textures. Excellent Margaret

Hi Ken The EOS 1Ds is a full frame 1:1 sensor. No crop at all. So what you see is what you get. Cheers

Nice composition. But I'm curious as a non-digital user--doesn't your camera have a cropping factor of 1.5 or so, which would make your 17-35 mm effectively a 26-53 mm? This looks like a wider angle than 26.
