Thanks for the nice comments. I let Mr. Nikon do most of my work -- his judgement is much better than mine in most cases.
This was taken in a greenhouse environment where the light is very flat to say the least. A large gold reflector was used and I did darken the flower on the left with P.S. to give more emphasis to the one in the foreground. Maybe I should leave things alone sometimes!

Wish there was a touch more light on the left side of the orchid. Can you tell what the lighting conditions were like there, and how you handled them? Also, what camera settings? I tried several of these recently, and mine don't have near this much texture or sharpness. It seems like I could reach out and touch that top right blossom. Very nice, Bonnie.
