About A very special memorial to a small but extremely brave unit of men. These modern day Navajo warriors serving in the U.S. Marine Corps used their very unique language as an unbreakable code in the bitter and vicious fighting against the Japanese in the Pacific during WWII. Their numbers are dwindling. Very recently they were honored with this monument located at the capital of the Navajo Nation.

What these men done was indeed brave, the movie also was brilliant, my son is a paratrooper and I take in all history etc of all these heroes the monument is a great reminder of these men, a very good shot and the background is great, it was put in a good place by the looks of this photo, well done...Tracey
