About I never cease to be amazed by women. Some time ago one of my daughters walked me into this shop and asked which wig would look best on her. I told her that there wasn't a wig in the world that could match her beauty. So much for old Dad knowing anything. Last week I walked by this shop again and took a quick photo to remind me that I don't know anything.

That Zuiko 24mm is a wonderful lens. I still have my OM4 although one of my sons has taken it over. This is an ideal focal length for exploring the really wide-angle range. I started off with 21mm and it was too much, too soon. Took me a couple of months to get used to it. Now it's my favourite lens... Watch "tilts" like a hawk or you'll spend all night in PS correcting perspectives! Look forward to see your result. Have you as a "friend" so I won't miss them!

I'm just beginning to really get into wide angle shots. It is such a different format. This next week I'll be practicing with my OM-1 and a 24mm Zuiko sweetheart. I really love the depth of field and close focus ability. When I get back from Texas I'll start posting the new series.

After your kind comment on my first effort with a rotary camera, I visited your portfolio--it's been a while, and I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed your work. This one reminds me of my son, who is the resident English teacher on NHK TV here in Japan. His producer asks him to change the colour of his hair every so often... I never know whether its going to be orange, green, purple or what when I switch on the TV. "Anything for the job" is his attitude. Me? I just polish the top...

Lido - Most of the light was natural, coming through the windows to my rear.

OK, women do so many things different and strange. How do you shoot in shop and not get green tone from lights?
