Why not have a laugh, dear Judi? after all, beside being an excellently coposed photo, it is also a very funny one. It reminds me of my childhood, when we were playing hide and seek and wanted to find out who would be the seeker, we would count "En den dino......" and so forth up to "Elic, belic, bom" and "Bom" would be the seeker. "En den" are probably corruption of the French Un deu.

We were covering the protest over the burning of all the citrus in the area. We have the largest orchids in the southern hemispher in my town and due to a canker breakout the entire industry has to be burnt even the ones without the disease. There are many farms and backyards that are going to be affected and to give you an idea, one particular farmer will lose over 10 million dollars in assets and over 50 million dollars in income over the next few years just because of this. And he is one of the smaller farms.
The part they are fighting is the fact the government will not compensate them for any of it and yet it is under the order of the government. The disease was imported from overseas.
Anyway the DPI refused to show up at the protest so we took the protest to the DPI office, but they refused to show their face so they took the growers into a back boardroom without the media...but we pushed our way in....hehehehe!!

I was a video stringer for 30 plus years with my trusty consumer VHS camcorder, for Altoona TV 10 news. Only one time tho, they actually aired raw from my vhs cassette of a breaking story. Exciting at times!! Lol
