hi Margaret - wow...you tapped into exactly how i was feeling about this piece. Thank you for sharing how it made you feel. I thought about the diagonal line as well, but felt that the composition worked in a more intriguing way keeping that bottom bloom in. But it just goes to show that there are so many choices we can make & create with digital images, which is really so much of the fun & discovery. - jennifer

Your signature is Depth... You have a way of presenting an image that is almost three dimensional. The limited DOF brings attention to the out-of-focus elements as much as those that are in focus. This creates a feeling of intimacy, and in some cases, intrigue. Lovely style that you have forged, Jennifer. I truly enjoy all of your work. ..Brad

Jennifer Very nice and evocative composition, coupled with the title it seems quite poignant/ sad, only one flower in focus - the other as though they have drifted apart, making the memory lovely - but tinged with sorrow/tears. I really like the diagonal composition and would have been tempted to take out the one flower at the bottom to make it a more strking diagonal line
