Hi John Have seen this down Blenhiem way - salt. Really suprised me seeing it piled up in hugh mounts. Great photo.

Looks like it might be a pile of salt from a salt mine or some other mined material. I don't know if you cropped it on purpose with machinery on the right and upper left or not.
