Thanks Arwa for your kind words. I cannot set up a portfolio for Kita as she has to be over 13 to join UF....that's another five years.
With regards to your lens error, I am not familiar with that lens and without seeing the camera I wouldn't be able to even guess what is causing the problem. It might be adviseable to go to their website and see if there is any information there that might guide you in the right direction.

Thanks Alastair. I permanently have a UV filter on my camera and when doing landscapes usually use a Polarizer. I took this image RAW so was able to change the WB in conversion. I generally always use the cloudy WB setting as this brings out the colours well. Although in this case I decided later that going with the blue was the better choice.
I cannot set up a portfolio for Kita as she has to be over 13 to join UF....that's another five years.

One question, I?ve been taking pictures with my nikkor 60 mm macro lens when suddenly I got an error ?err- message where the where the aperture and shutter speed should be displayed
Any idea what could cause this?

Love the colours in your photo Judi... those blues are just superb! Do you use filters on the camera at all? The only way I can get a similar depth to the blues is with a polariser and a grey grad filter (but I guess a grey grad is easy enough to do in PS after the event).
Young Kita has obviously inherited her mother's talent... That is an excellent portait of you looking quite relaxed and natural. Well done Kita!!! Now you just need to get mum to set you up with your own computer and UF login.....

Thanks so much Angelo. I wasn't really after a point of interest in this image. My eye was on the contrast of the dry grasses and the sky, both in colour and texture.
Typical of the Australian Outback.
