About "Nirvana simply means the end of the candlelight, so that you are in absolute silence. And darkness is not bad. It is peaceful, it has depth. Light is shallow; darkness is infinitely deep."

A beautiful and open-feeling house you live in, Arwa - I imagine that it's a wonderful, refreshing retreat on a hot day! I think this black and white version emphasizes the coolness of the glass, metal and stone. I love the ghost-like apparitions of the boys in this - it adds a mysterious feeling, but not spooky for some reason!
I hope all goes well with your surgery (you haven't had it yet, have you?) I'm sure it will be worth it in the end, and you'll feel so good you won't know what to do with yourself! :)

Hi Arwa,

cool stuff with the fish eye look in the background and the shopping ghosts in the front! toning is just fine for me.

best wishes,

Thilo

Very mysterious, the picture goes on and on .. excellent choice in B&W although I also like the mood in the coloured version also :-)

Hope you are feeling a lot better now.

Best wishes,
Steve

Like it, Arwa, prefer it too in BW. Very nice shadow areas under the roof. So much room to play for the boys! /Hansi

For me this is not so immediately gripping an image, Arwa, but good work nonetheless.
Best regards, Chris

I like the lighting and the result of the slow shutter speed in here Arwa.
I like this one more, best regards,
Khaled.

Very nice Arwa,

To me, I think the b&W sepia tone works better than colour with this one. The motion blurr is very effective here.
