this is a great mix of old and new, well composed! I feel the same looking at some old houses here... Pity that nobody save them from a sad fall...

Excellent play on shapes. It is perhaps even intentional of the modern architect to echo the shapes on the windows in the old building.

I really like the way you have eliminated distractions and concentrated on details from two buildings. It seems everything is sharp, and we are left looking at shapes and the differences in tone and texture.

Very effectinve architeture shot, for my taste.

Nice combination Arwa, very beautiful blue and interesting building. You have done great ;-) ..I spent 3 weeks in Jeddah last summer, you have interesting old buildings and souq down there, but they need restoration as you mentioned. (and some driving rules too ;-)

WOW Arwa... this is an AMAZING shot.. the pattern.. the angle.. the contrast in both colors and concept.. gorgeous.! try changing the curves in PS.. a little contrast and brightness might improve it (not that there is anything to be improved!) :-)
