About A building was preventing more light from shining on this old weather beaten dock and the sun was rising far to my left. I love the way the light is starting to peak it's way into the left side of the photo.

Aperture F/4.5
Focal Length 24 mm.

Enjoy

Beautiful isolated image. The darkness and the small light coming into the image with the hint of colour is excelelnt.

Well done my friend.

My assignment to you Mr. Bambery, should you decide to accept it, is to go and look at the best landscape photography you can find on the Internet. If you look at them all closely, you'll see that there is no difference between them and "In Dawns Shadows".

Beautiful Jim. Great control of exposure as Roberto said, with a great result. Nice contrast between the warmth in the left and the cool blues in the rest of the frame... Well done!
