Very dramatic capture. The strength of this picture comes from your framing the Kob's (or is it something else?) eye in one of the thirds. It almost looks like the last lingering emotion of knowing the end has come is left in that dead eye.
Your use of DOF is expert. Your title reminds us that the world naturally occurs this way, but the picture speaks to our human emotion of loss and sorrow.
Excellent work. One of my favorite pieces on this site.
