The same thing happened to me. I uploaded a deer picture and took it off. I never left it because he looked all pixelated. I don't have an answer for you.
However, your picture is great. The lovely colours show regardless.

Thanks Larry, sometimes I see it and others don't. I guess it's just one of those things. I hope you get a chance to catch one of these marvolous birds. They are fun to photograph but a lot of hard work and patience is needed. Go out and get yourself a feeder and set up up where you can get to it and make sure your background is of a contrast that highlights the bird. Then just wait:) Sorry I haven't been commenting lately, been working on the restaurant lately and just sneak a pic in now and then.

Another great Humming Bird capture, Jim. I really don't see the pixels or anything around the bird as you mention. I blew it up to 200% and can see only a very faint halo. As it shows up on the screen here I certainly don't find anything objectionable. I don't have an answer anyway so guess so I would say relax and enjoy your great picture :-). Best wishes, Larry

I cant help you with the pixel issue, but I like the picture a lot, it's a nice composition and I guess it's hard to capture a humming bird in action!!
