I'd love to say I was experimenting with flash and shutterspeed settings, but I had the camera set wrong when I took this shot, so it's a pleasant mistake.

I've always liked "alternative work" and anything experimental. I don't like it when people look down on experimentation like it's deviating from the norm. But art isn't about sticking to norms. And experimentation has almost always yielded progress in the form of technology....the camera, the computer, the car, the airplane. And I think when you strive to do different things, new things whether it be in art of technology, that is a more positive attribute than not exploring new ways and methods.
C.A., sometimes the mistakes turn out to be the best, because we do things that we wouldn't have thought of! I like the softness and the colors, and the fact that the cat's gaze is steady even though the rest of the photo is blurry or moving. Very nice. Amy
