Hee, hee, hee... When you get around to it, put the "try again" revision in the "Humor" Project. Maybe all the bystanders need to be smaller. The perspective is a bit off. Or:
How about putting the "suspects" on one of those jail lineups? Front & profile? Or put little outfits (striped suit?), hats or badges.

Really? what are you not happy with? the idea is excellent. the last three crayons on the right don't have drop shadows that might be what is making it look odd.
cheers,
nicole

So creative. I like the background. Very good job with the "dead" crayons.

Very simple composition, with good colors. I think the arrangement is a tad too symetrical. Perhaps more of the crayons lying down?

Just saw your comment...

Still pulled off nicely even if it may be inspired by another shot.

Why arent ya happy with it????
I think it turned out great.

Personally, I think it was the yellow green that was the culprit here, ya need to watch him, has shifty eyes.

Hehehehe cute and creative! The way that the white background blinds with the usefilm background is great! It could be a little sharper and the light might be a bit o strong but other than that perfect
Well done

This was a great creative idea. Don't know why your not totally happy with this, I think it is great! This would be fun to play with, maybe try using just one crayon with the blood. Terrific idea and interesting subject!

Very cool idea. I think the dull headed Blue one did it.

I made comment on this and then it disappeared for a while. I knew it was Yellow Green, after I accused him he went into hiding :) I think the results are great Dan, but I'd like to see more. It gave me my first good laugh of the day.

Very good idea and photograph, Dan!

Clear and the colours look very fine.
Looks almost like a test pic for a 20D test :)
Great result!

Bye, Frank

An interesting idea. I think maybe the composition needs to be a little tighter. How did you make the "blood"? It looks like an idea worth exploring.
Guess you have to buy your kids new crayons now!
