Her hair blowing in all directions like a Catherine wheel, Gayle stood on the stoney shore and looked up.
The sky was cloudless. Only a few scavenging birds were circling, squeaking, flapping. It was like a normal street market, but without the street. Or the market.
Now that the frenzied bloodshed was over, an eerie calm decended, enveloping everything with a noise-abating trawlernet bubblewrap of calm enforcement lotion.
As the weary survivors dutifully set about burying scattered body parts in the gravel and sand and gooseberries, Gayle suddenly noticed a red object on the horizon.
She jumped in shock, and wondering why no one else appeared to have noticed what she had noticed, but, yes, it was definitely there and it was definitely a bridge.
And it was red.
And as she looked up, she saw an overfed family in a 14-tonne camping mobile on their way to an entertainment enclave run over another squirrel...

Well, you're too energized. You're going to shoot us all right out of the saddle. A brilliant concept. The composition is sheer genius. The colors are marvelous and the title is perfect. There ought to be a separate division for work of this quality.
