Thx Jim, and indeed that would be the cherish on the pie .. but technically the Sony is limited to F2 aperture in nightshot mode.. so extending the shuttertime would have as only result the burning out of the shot .. i know this would have given continuous bands on the passing train .. but i don't mind, this machine gives me the utmost satisfaction, i take as many pictures with it as with my 300D, that says enough ? ;-)

Wonderful,perfect in B&W. Only a bit cropp at the top so that the twigs are gone, that's my opinion. But congrats with this one. Femke

Cool shot Peter, Don't you typically have long shutter times with IR ? I have never tried it, but have surely enjoyed your journey into the medium.
