I think this composition is really exceptional. It is nice to see the original frame and hoe you decided to crop it.

Winter is just here, and as a windsurfer, this makes me yearn for summer.

Regards, David

Woooaahhh your timing is fabulous! Extremely good action feeling, and also interesting this way you kept some colours while rest is b&w!

I got your point Hugo, no offense ! Selective colour is something to use with care..
And this is what i really like, discussion about eachother's work.

Hi Peter, nice to see the original, and I agree, there's not much to hide here; the dark sky and the ominous sky only add to the image, I'd say... Just to clarify, I didn't mean to imply you tried to hide something by using the selective colour; it was more of a general remark...

Cheers,

Hugo

Thx Hugo, but there was not much to hide other than the sea which was not really colourful .. here's the original !
Bye Peter

Spectacular image Peter! The only thing I alwasy feel when looking at a selective colour photo is that the artist / photographer is trying to hide something. A selective colour shot always seems to place excessive attention on the primary subject, making the other elements purely peripheral. That doesn't mean I don't like this shot, I think it's very well edited, and quite effective. I'd like to see the original version, just for comparison.

Cheers,

Hugo
